Hostel Volunteer – Housekeeping & Guest Support

We’re a small, independent hostel in central Belgrade, and we’d love to welcome a friendly, reliable person to join us and help with the day-to-day running of the place! This is a great opportunity to experience Belgrade and discover more of Serbia, meet travellers from all over the world, explore local cafés and nightlife, and take advantage of plenty of free time to travel and explore at your own pace. We have two volunteers at a time who alternate working days, which means you’ll help out every other day and have the entire day off in between, with no hostel duties. On your working days, the four hours of help are split into three short shifts: 7–8 AM, 12–2 PM, and 9–10 PM. This is our usual schedule, but you’re welcome to coordinate with the other volunteer and swap shifts if that works better for both of you, as long as all shifts are covered. There are no duties during the night, but we do ask you to stay overnight at the hostel, from 10 PM until 8 AM, on your working nights. On your days off, the time is completely yours! Head out to explore the city, take a day trip, enjoy Belgrade’s nightlife, or even spend the night somewhere else — whatever you feel like doing. There are no restrictions on where you go or when you return, and your bed will be waiting for you when you’re back. You don’t need previous hostel or hospitality experience. What matters most to us is that you’re responsible, considerate, easygoing, and happy to interact with people from different backgrounds. A friendly attitude and a willingness to lend a hand go a long way!
